Linda Lael Miller returns to an unforgettable Montana town for a very special occasion....
SPRINGWATER WEDDING
Once a frontier stagecoach stop, tiny Springwater has grown and changed and entered the twenty-first century. Cattle rustlers may still be stirring up trouble, but now they're high-tech operators in a modern world. Where stagecoaches once rolled along muddy roads, the Internet is now the newest highway in town. But heartbreak is still heartbreak and love still love, and Springwater still boasts a rich legacy of joy, sorrow, and second chances -- as two childhood sweethearts discover when they rekindle a long-ago passion in the place they will always call home.
Maggie McCaffrey left her fast-paced corporate job to take a chance on a more rewarding -- but riskier -- business venture: turning the dilapidated Springwater Station into a bed-and-breakfast. But Maggie didn't count on running straight into J.T. Wainwright, the hometown boy who stole her heart many years before. A tough former New York City cop, J.T. survived a grave gunshot wound and returned to Springwater to find a better way of life. Now, as deputy town marshal, he's facing off with modern-day cattle thieves who are plaguing local ranchers. Stronger than ever, J.T. seems ready for anything -- except, of course, Maggie.
As Maggie's B&B begins to take root, a delightful new cast of Springwater locals passes through its doors. Maggie's parents, Kathleen and Reece, are finding that their forty-year marriage requires a little renegotiating now and then. Cindy, a teenage newlywed with a baby on the way, is learning about love and sacrifice for the first time. And town marshal Purvis Digg is turning Springwater upside down by dating a woman he met on the Internet.
As always, Linda Lael Miller enchants readers with her portrayal of the complex tangle of life and love in a small town. With her trademark sensuality and her þair for wit, she once again brings Springwater to life -- this time, at the dawn of a new era.

About the author
The daughter of a town marshal, Linda Lael Miller is a #1 New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of more than 100 historical and contemporary novels, most of which reflect her love of the West. Raised in Northport, Washington, Linda pursued her wanderlust, living in London and Arizona and traveling the world before returning to the state of her birth to settle down on a spacious property outside Spokane.
Linda traces the birth of her writing career to the day when a Northport teacher told her that the stories she was writing were good, that she just might have a future in writing. Later, when she decided to write novels, she endured her share of rejection before she sold Fletcher’s Woman in 1983 to Pocket Books. Since then, Linda has successfully published historicals, contemporaries, paranormals, mysteries and thrillers before coming home, in a literal sense, and concentrating on novels with a Western flavor. For her devotion to her craft, the Romance Writers of America awarded her their prestigious Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
Long a passionate Civil War buff, Linda has studied the era avidly for almost thirty years. She has read literally hundreds of books on the subject, explored numerous battlegrounds and made many visits to her favorite, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she has witnessed re-enactments of the legendary clash between North and South. Linda explores that turbulent time in The Yankee Widow, a May 7, 2019 MIRA Books hardcover, also available in digital and audiobook formats.
Dedicated to helping others, “The First Lady of the West” personally financed fifteen years of her Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women, which she awarded to women 25 years and older who were seeking to improve their lot in life through education. She anticipates that her next charitable endeavors will benefit four-legged critters.

J.T. knows he blew it years ago with the only woman he ever loved and prays he has a second chance though he remains haunted by the death of his NYPD partner. However, Maggie wants nothing to do with J.T. though he still makes her heart thump out of control.
Talented Linda Lael Miller provides her fans with the romantic tale of two descendants from her popular Springwater series. The contemporary story line is fun for those readers who enjoyed Ms. Miller's nineteenth century stories. The romance is the core of the book, but a subplot involving ugly ranch incidents add unnecessary suspense to a story that reads quite well as a second chance at love novel.

J.T. leaves behind the death of his partner, a gunshot wound, and a divorce to become a rancher. His attempts to make the family ranch a paying proposition are threatened, however, by someone poisoning neighboring herds, cattle rustlers, and murder. His attempts at rekindling a romance with Maggie seem a bit more productive, but other issues seem to keep him frequently sidetracked. Indeed, while aiding local law enforcement, J.T. soon learns that the current crime spree leads to the town's past and includes his father's murder.
SPRINGWATER WEDDING is the seventh book in the Springwater series, providing a contemporary conclusion. The hero and heroine are descendants of the original cast, thereby providing the novel with deep roots. But do not let that dissuade new readers who want to read SPRINGWATER WEDDING as a standalone. The novel works beautifully as an independent read as well, though readers may quickly find their way to the bookstore for the remaining books of the series. Author Linda Lael Miller excels at creating novels with a strong sense of community and ancestry, as SPRINGWATER WEDDING dazzlingly demonstrates. Further, Jacob is the wounded hero at his best, with challenges and weaknesses that make him immensely appealing. Maggie years for community and family, yet fears the risk such goals require. While the reader knows that, of course, they will find up together, the journey is both pleasurable and endearing, especially with the remarkable secondary characters give the novel an added richness. Very highly recommended.
It is truly Maggie's and JT's story and if the problems of the people around them are not totally well developed, I feel that in no way does this take away from the romance of our two lovers.
You feel the pain they suffered from losing each other so many years ago, feel the sadness as their first marriages ended and without doubt experience the unremitting joy as they rediscover their relationship.
The arrival of JT's little boy only cements Maggie's and JT's feelings for one another. It also allows us to see briefly into the window of his past when his first wife brings Quinn to Montana.
This will be a book to take to the beach, the pool or anywhere else you want to go and just be pleasantly entertained. A keeper.
